The myBlock™ digital dry bath series introduces several new features that provide advantages over classic dry baths.
A hinged lid helps to maintain a more uniform temperature across block occupants. It is removable, to accommodate tall blocks or tubes. The advanced microprocessor control permits the use of an optional external temperature feedback probe that can be positioned inside a sample tube to provide real time control and monitoring of actual sample temperature.
The timer offers control up to 100 minutes or the myBlock can be used for continuous heating.
Various blocks are available for accommodating nearly all popular tube sizes. In addition the Quick-Flip™ two sided universal micro blocks accept tubes from 0.5 to 2.0 mL or 0.2 mL tubes, PCR strips or even a PCR plate (with the myBlock dual block).
